XML for SCRIPT is a simple non-validating XML parser written in JavaScript. This was written partly as an exploration of the issues involved in coding parsers for XML, and partly to see how useful such a parser would be for version three and four browsers. The parser takes input from a string, so the way your XML is included in your page is up to you - as long as you can pull out a string containing the content, it can be parsed.

XMLBoard is a XML-driven multi-forum message board system written in Perl. All of the forum data is stored in XML format. By using XML, XMLBoard keeps information separate from appearance. This allows for dynamic generation of output. Unlike boards that save the posts in HTML format, XMLBoard can instantly change the appearance of all messages by simply changing the HTML code in 1 file. XMLBoard supports multiple forums, and multiple forum designs. The design for each forum is done with HTML. Other nifty features include: Uses optional cookies to remember the users' names and remind them when their last visit was and how many posts have been added, New posts are indicated in the index, Each forum has one administrator, who can remove posts and threads with the XMLBoard script, and Option to display only recent posts, created within a certain number of days.
